I approach painting as a space where images are built and undone simultaneously. Continuous disruption of the surface, allowing it to remain active, with meaning emerging through instability, offering some clues and cues. The instability within the painting also reflects ideas of growing up.”
Sabrina Shah (b.1986) is London based artist. She graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Fine Art Painting, after studying at the University of Brighton and the Royal Drawing School. She is currently exhibiting in the John Moores Painting Prize 2025, Leverhulme Scholarship in 2022. Her first solo exhibition was presented at Indigo+Madder, London, (Talk to Me, March 2023) She has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Show (2024) HSBC global HQ (2024), Two Temple Place & Thorp Stavri Residency & Exhibition,(Inside, London 2023) Eve Liebe Gallery (‘Summer Show’, 2022)
